Teaching Experience Days & Webinars

From recent graduates to experienced career changers, we are currently looking for a wide range of enthusiastic, bright candidates who are excited about the prospect of training to teach.

With training places in over 20 subjects available, the SJSERA prides itself on providing an environment in which new teachers can flourish, grow, and excel.  School Experience Days

We are offering school experience days which provide those who might be interested in a career in teaching an invaluable opportunity to visit us and see what life is like the daily life of an outstanding school.

During your visit you will observe a range of lessons and meet with teachers and senior leaders. This will also include an overview of routes into teaching, especially School Direct, and a session on teaching and learning. We are only able to consider those considering a School Direct teacher training course and are unable to provide experience for those already signed up to training providers or those only seeking the PGCE route.

 Webinars

We are pleased to be offering a series of webinars, hosted by a senior school leader and tutor, which will give you an insight and offer opportunities across the whole teacher training experience, from your first interview through to completing your first year of training.
