Advent Booklets

As we enter Advent, our Lay Chaplain, Caroline Moulinet, has created Advent booklets for each key stage. For primary schools, dedicating just 2 minutes in the morning or at the end of the day could be a practical way to engage. In secondary schools, you may find it beneficial to use 3 to 5 minutes during form time, allowing pupils to reflect and choose one action for the day.

The booklets can be found below for families to print at home and for staff to share in the classroom.

A Message from Caroline Moulinet, Lay Chaplain:

I sincerely hope that both pupils and adults will take a few minutes each day to pray and carry out a heartfelt act of kindness. Nothing is too simple or too small for Jesus. There is so much joy in Heaven for one person coming to Him.

If you find ways to encourage pupils to participate in this Advent journey, I would be deeply grateful. Simple atmosphere such as soft music or dim lighting can help make these 2 to 5 minutes dedicated to our Lord's coming a source of comfort and peace for all, and a renewed opportunity to pray, offering a slight change from the usual routine.

I keep you in my prayers, and I hope that this Advent season brings you Hope and a deepened longing for the Kingdom of God.
